Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the services provided by Travel Solutions Australia Pty Ltd, trading as MailMe (“MailMe”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.

1. Definitions

Mail means letters, documents, correspondence and other paper-based items received at your MailMe postal address.

Parcel means packages, boxes and other non-paper items received at your MailMe postal address.

Services means the postal address, mail receiving, mail storage, mail scanning, mail forwarding and parcel handling services provided by MailMe.

Subscription Period means the 6-month or 12-month period purchased by you.

2. Our Services

MailMe provides the following services:

(a) A unique Australian postal address
(b) Mail receiving
(c) Secure physical mail storage (maximum three (3) months)
(d) Mail scanning (subject to your consent)
(e) Mail forwarding within Australia
(f) Parcel forwarding within Australia
(g) Parcel collection at our Brisbane office during business hours

MailMe does not guarantee delivery times or the actions of third-party postal or courier providers.

3. Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be an individual (business accounts are not available)
  • Be travelling in or intending to travel to Australia
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date personal information
  • Hold only one (1) MailMe account

4. Subscription & Payment

4.1 Subscription Plans

Available plans and pricing are displayed on our website.

4.2 Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of registration.
Payments are processed securely via Shopify Payments / Stripe.
MailMe does not store full credit card details.

4.3 Additional Fees

  • Mail forwarding: €5 per request
  • Parcel forwarding (up to 22kg): €12
  • Parcels over 22kg: quoted prior to dispatch

4.4 Payment Failure

If payment fails, your account may be suspended until payment is successfully processed.

5. Mail Opening and Scanning (Explicit Consent Required)

5.1 Consent at Checkout

By ticking the consent box at checkout, you expressly authorise MailMe to:

  • Open your incoming mail
  • Scan its contents
  • Upload digital copies to your secure account
  • Store physical mail for up to three (3) months
  • Destroy mail after the storage period unless forwarding or collection is requested

Duo Plan Authorisation

Where a Duo Plan is purchased, the Primary Account Holder confirms that they are authorised by the second named individual to accept these Terms and provide consent on their behalf for MailMe to receive, open, scan, store, forward and securely destroy mail addressed to them.

MailMe relies on this confirmation to provide the Services.

5.2 Nature of Scanning

MailMe staff will view the contents of your mail solely for the purpose of providing the Services.
We do not analyse, use, or disclose your mail contents except as required by law.

5.4 Withdrawal of Consent and Impact on Services

If you withdraw consent for MailMe to open and scan your mail:

  • Your mail will be stored unopened
  • MailMe will not be able to forward mail unless legally required or separately authorised by you in writing
  • No refund will be provided if you choose to withdraw consent during your Subscription Period

6. Mail Storage and Disposal

6.1 Storage Period

Mail and parcels are stored for a maximum of three (3) months from the date of receipt.

6.2 Expiry of Storage

After the storage period:

  • Items will be securely destroyed using a cross-cut shredder
  • Destroyed items cannot be recovered

You are responsible for monitoring your account and providing instructions before expiry.

7. Prohibited Items

You must not use the Services to receive:

  • Illegal goods
  • Dangerous or hazardous materials
  • Perishable goods
  • Live animals
  • Weapons or ammunition
  • Drugs or controlled substances
  • Any item prohibited by Australian law or postal regulations

If prohibited items are received, MailMe may return, destroy, report the item, and/or terminate your account.

8. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Regularly check your account
  • Use the correct MailMe postal address
  • Comply with all applicable Australian laws
  • Not use the Services fraudulently or unlawfully

9. Privacy & Data Protection

Personal information is collected, used and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Scanned mail is stored securely using encrypted cloud infrastructure and is accessible only via your secure account.

Upon subscription expiry:

  • You will be notified
  • You will have 90 days to download your documents
  • All digital data will then be permanently deleted

Financial records are retained for 7 years as required by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Forwarded Mail

Once dispatched to Australia Post or another carrier, MailMe is not responsible for loss, damage or delays in transit.

10.2 General Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MailMe excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss.

10.3 Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

11. Cancellation, Expiry & Customer Responsibility

11.1 No Mid-Term Cancellation

Subscriptions are non-refundable during the Subscription Period except as required by law.

11.2 Expiry of Subscription

At the end of your Subscription Period:

  • It is your responsibility to arrange forwarding or collection of any remaining mail or parcels
  • Instructions must be provided before expiry

If no instructions are received:

  • Mail will be securely destroyed for privacy reasons
  • MailMe is not liable for any resulting loss

11.3 Office Collection

Parcels may be collected during office hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm (Queensland time)
Public holidays excluded.

11.4 Early Account Deletion

You may request early account deletion by contacting info@mailmeapp.com.au
Digital data will be permanently deleted upon confirmation.

12. Account Termination

MailMe may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, illegal activity, receipt of prohibited items, false information, or legal obligation.
No refunds apply where termination is due to breach.


13. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property associated with MailMe is owned by Travel Solutions Australia Pty Ltd.

14. Force Majeure

MailMe is not liable for any failure or delay in performing the Services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, power failures, pandemics, government actions, postal disruptions, or system outages.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Queensland courts.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and MailMe.
